Education and Experience: Prior to my career in education, I worked as an emergency room nurse for 15 years. I have taught 7th grade science for four years and this is my second year teaching health science at Career Tech West.
Certification(s): I have a bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and earned my teaching certificate through the iTeach Louisiana program.
Personal Info: I have always loved science in nursing and have enjoyed sharing my love of science in education over the past five years. I am excited to teach your students not only a love for health science but also a love for learning, critical thinking and working together.
