Christy Rochelle joined Career Tech West in August of 2016. She is a graduate of Delta State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration. She also completed her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. She has been happily married for 30 years to Chef Robert Rochelle (current Culinary Arts Instructor at CTC) with two grown children, Rayna and Collin.
Mrs. Rochelle was a member of the DeSoto Central High School staff where she was the Director of Special of Education, she also worked as a Supervisor for TST at Central Services before becoming a testing coordinator at Desoto Central Middle School. Along with her many years of teaching experience, she has owned and operated a lucrative catering business and owned a City Hall Cheesecake in Collierville, TN. This experience landed her a job as the Culinary Arts teacher at CTC West for 5 years, before moving to Student Services.
She serves as Student Services Coordinator; one half of a team with Emily Faulkner. Here she coordinates with high schools during our busy recruitment season. She also serves as the special education liaison to all 8 DCS high schools. Other resources offered by Students Services include:
